Q: Is my child required to attend drafts?

A: Players league age 9-16 will be required to attend drafts.  In the case your child does not attend the draft, your child’s name will be placed in a hat an drawn one at a time until each child (that did not attend) is placed on a team.

Q: If my child is a league age 4-8 year old, are they required to attend drafts?

A: No. Players that are league age 4-8 years old do not have to be drafted. League age 4-6 year olds will play in our Tee Ball division. However, players league age 6 that played in the Tee Ball division in the spring of 2019 are eligible to play in our Minor- Machine Pitch division.

Q: I am concerned that my child will be playing with kids older and not with his friends. What are the ages of the children my child be playing with and against?

A: All divisions are set by Little League International with the exception of a few slight modifications that fit our League. All divisions will consist of players the same league age as your child or up to 1-2 years different in age. Senior league and Big League there could be a 3 year age difference between players.

Note: We will do our best to keep the ages as close as possible but we do have to consider the skill advancement from player to player. We want all kids playing in a division that helps them grow as a player and also challenges them to make them a better ball player.

A: There are NO special requests for your child to be placed on a particular coach’s team in the spring.
